Karlene Chambers, CPM, ARM, AMS
Karlene is a Certified Property Manager (CPM),
Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) and Association Management
Specialist (AMS) with over 30 years hands-on experience in
the multifamily management industry. Karlene joined Oak Leaf
in May of 1989 and worked up to her current position of Vice
President of Residential Property. Her background includes
management of all phases of residential properties including
condominium and multifamily communities. Karlene holds a Texas
Salesman License, is a member of the Community Association
Institute, Institute Real Estate Management and the Houston
Association of Realtors.
Karlene has served on the ARM Committee for Houston and the ARM Services and ARM Standards committees for IREM
nationally. In 1991, Karlene received the ARM of the Year award on a local and national level. From 1991 to 1997 she
was awarded the IREM ARM Certificate of Achievement Award which is a prestigious recognition of continuing education
in the residential multifamily real estate management field.
Karlene is still a current member of these organizations and works with the Houston Apartment Association as a member
of the Society of Apartment Property Supervisor programs and volunteers for the Resident Relation Committee that helps
resolve resident and management disputes and has helped raise over $12,000 for the American Cancer Society through the
Pink Ladies Gold Tournament and other agencies.
